Baroka FC progressed to the 2016 Telkom Knockout Cup quarterfinals after thrashing Platinum Stars 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Bakgaga had welcomed Dikwena in the Last-16 game which took place at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
The home side grabbed an early lead through Mzwanele Mahashe who scored with a header from a free-kick to make it 1-0 to Baroka two minutes into the game.
Dikwena were under pressure in the opening stages of the game as Bakgaga continued to control the Cup encounter.
Mahashe tried to grab his second goal on the half-hour mark, but this time Stars goalkeeper Mbongeni Mzimela made a decent save to deny the Baroka star.
Seven minutes later, Baroka head coach Kgokolo Thobejane made an early change when he pulled out Cleopas Dube for Geofrey Massa.
Ryan De Jongh played a cross into the Baroka box two minutes before halftime and his Stars teammate Robert Ng'ambi headed the ball over the crossbar.
Bakgaga doubled their lead a minute into the second-half and it was Mahashe who scored with a header again to make it 2-0 to the home side.
Things went from bad to worse for Dikwena in the 63rd minute and this time it was Marshall Munetsi who hit the back of the net to extend Baroka's lead.
The Zimbabwean midfielder then forced Mbongeni into a good save in the 70th minute as Baroka continued to dominate the Cup game.
However, Sipho Senne scored what proved to a consolation goal for Stars in the 90th minute as Baroka held on to win 3-1 on the day.
