Thanda Royal Zulu racked up another National First Division win, while there was a six goal Cape derby thriller at Athlone in Sunday’s two matches.

Thanda were 2-0 victors over Jomo Cosmos at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex on Sunday, thanks to goals from Siduduzo Dlamini and Jabulani Ncubeni.

The result sees Roger Sikhakhane’s side opening up a six point gap over fellow KZN side Royal Eagles at the top of the NFD standings.

Meanwhile at a scorching hot Athlone Stadium, Milano United made it three wins from their last four games when they beat FC Cape Town 4-2.

Bongile Booi and Dillan Solomons put Milano 2-0 up before Sekela Sithole struck a brace for the African Beasts to level the game at 2-2. But goals from Gert Barends and Gregory Roelf ensured the three points for the Kinnes.
