PSL DC UPDATE

The following matters will appear before the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee next week on 18 October 2017.

RICHARDS BAY FC and RICHARD MAKHOBA:

Mr MAKHOBA has been charged with three charges of misconduct arising from Richard Bay’s National First Division fixture against Tshakuma FC played on 24 September 2017 when it is alleged that he intimidated and abused the Match Officials and, on two separate occasions, caused a delay in the match.

BIDVEST WITS and GABADINHO MHANGO:

Mr Mhango has been charged with misconduct for allegedly offending the dignity of Amazulu FC player, Michael Morton following an alleged spitting incident on 20 September 2017 at the Princess Magogo Stadium.

BIDVEST WITS and JONATHAN SCHLOSS:

Mr Schloss has been charged with contravening Rule 54 of the NSL Handbook (Misconduct) for allegedly using offensive gestures or language against Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela during the Absa Premiership fixture between Bidvest Wits and Kaizer Chiefs on 16 September 2017.

BIDVEST WITS and GEORGE MOGOTSI:

Mr Mogotsi has been charged with contravening Rule 54 of the NSL Handbook (Misconduct) after he allegedly used offensive language at the match officials during the Absa Premiership fixture between Bidvest Wits and Kaizer Chiefs on 16 September 2017.

AMAZULU FC and MICHAEL MORTON:

Mr Morton has also been charged with misconduct for allegedly offending the dignity of Bidvest Wits FC player Gabadinho Mhango, following a further alleged spitting incident on 20 September 2017 at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
