Ntshangase to seal permanent move to Maritzburg

Maritzburg United are to turn the loan deal of Phumlani Ntshangase into as permanent move, officials said on Friday.

The 25-year-old midfielder has been at the KwaZulu-Natal club since the start of the season on loan from Bidvest Wits, who are being sold with most of their players set to leave once the campaign is concluded.

Ntshangase, who has battled with injury over the last campaigns, started his career as a teenager at wits, debuting at the age of 19 in 2014 for the club.

He spent five seasons with the club before going out on loan to SuperSport United for the 2018-2019 campaign.

At Maritzburg, he has bene reunited with Eric Tinkler, who coached him when he was a junior at Wits.

He has made 11 starts in all competition for Maritzburg this season.
