Wounded Chiefs take on Maritzburg

Kaizer Chiefs will look to bounce back to winning ways in the Absa Premiership when they host Maritzburg United at FNB Stadium on Saturday, kick-off at 20h15.

Chiefs suffered their first defeat of the season in their last outing, going down 3-1 away to SuperSport United.

The Soweto side’s previous home match was a 1-1 draw against local rivals Moroka Swallows.

Their next three league opponents are Bloemfontein Celtic (away), Platinum Stars (home) and Golden Arrows (away).

The Amakhosi are placed ninth on the Absa Premiership log with four points from three matches.

Maritzburg played to a goalless draw at home to University of Pretoria in their last outing.

The KwaZulu-Natal team’s previous away match was a 2-0 loss at Free State Stars.
