Usuthu host Dikwena

AmaZulu will look to end their winless streak in the Absa Premiership when they host Platinum Stars at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday, 27 November 2013.

AmaZulu have played to three successive draws and failed to win any of their last seven league matches after a 1-1 draw away to Free State Stars at the weekend.

The Durban side has claimed just one home win so far this season, picking up five points from a possible 15 as hosts.

Their next three league opponents are University of Pretoria, Golden Arrows (both away) and Kaizer Chiefs (home).

Usuthu are placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with 14 points from 11 matches.

Stars defeated Maritzburg United 2-1 away in their last league fixture, a second successive victory.

The Rustenburg team has won just once away from home so far this season, claiming five points from a possible 15.

Their next three league opponents are Golden Arrows (away), Orlando Pirates (home) and Ajax Cape Town (away).

Dikwena are placed fourth on the Absa Premiership log with 16 points from 10 matches.

In head-to-head stats, AmaZulu and Stars have met in 16 league matches since 2003/04. Usuthu boast eight wins compared to six for Dikwena, while just two matches have been drawn.

AmaZulu have won five of their eight home matches against Stars, suffering two defeats in the process.

Last season each side managed a home win against the other: 2-1 for Dikwena in Rustenburg and 1-0 for Usuthu in Durban.
