TS Sporting outlast Wanderers

TS Sporting beat a resilient Happy Wanderers 4-3 in a thrilling Nedbank Cup last-16 tussle at Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu on Saturday afternoon.

Sporting raced into a two goal lead with Honest Moyo and Mbulelo Wagaba both finding the back of the net within the first 10 minutes of the clash.

Kamohelo Sithole edged Sporting in front once more in the 101st minute but Mazibuko - who would be named as the man of the match - completed his brace to from the spot to make for a thrilling end to the fixture despite Sibusiso Khumalo's sending off five minutes prior.

Sporting, though, would deliver the knockout punch after they too were awarded a penalty of their own with Sithole duly grabbing his second to send the GladAfrica Championship team into the quarterfinals.
