Rockets find form in style through Sekhukhune clash

TS Galaxy ran rampant in their 3-1 victory over Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, grabbing their first win of the season in the Betway Premiership in the process on Tuesday evening.

The Mpumalanga outfit were a team on a mission and found themselves in the lead as early as the 23rd minute and forward Victor Letsoalo was seeing a lot of the ball.

Dzenan Zajmovic continued to announce his arrival as he was involved in Tresor Yamba Yamba ultimately conceding an own goal. That would be the beginning of a difficult night for the home team.

Letsoalo netted the Rockets’ second goal in the 32nd minute as he found space after Zajmovic did well in the build-up. The scoreline was 2-0 at the break with Galaxy in cruise control.

The second half was no different as the Rockets dominated play. They delivered their final blow in the 65th minute, as Zajmovic got himself onto the scoresheet in stunning fashion.

The Bosnian, now with a goal and assist to his name in this clash definitely shined in the evening as the Rockets took home all three points for the first time this season.

Sekhukhune grabbed a consolation goal as Lesedi Kapinga found the net from distance at the stroke of fulltime. It was however unfortunately too late for Babina Noko to make a comeback.

Keagan Dolly was also a talking point in the evening, with the 31-year-old making his debut for TS Galaxy following his free transfer to the club following his release from Kaizer Chiefs at the end of last season.
