2025-26 MTN8 FINAL: Important information

Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch are set to battle it out in the 2025 MTN8 Final at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday 13 September.

It’s a repeat of last year’s showdown where Orlando Pirates triumphed 3-1. Stellenbosch will be out for revenge, while the Buccaneers aim to cement their status as the undisputed MTN8 kings!

Who is in the MTN8 Entertainment Lineup?

The Premier Soccer League (PSL), together with tournament sponsor MTN, have announced that award-winning artists Sjava and Mörda Bongz will headline the MTN8 Final pre-match entertainment at Mbombela Stadium.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the full build-up to one of the most anticipated fixtures on the football calendar. With stadium gates opening at 14h00, early arrivals will be treated to a world-class pre-match entertainment show that blends music, culture, and football excitement.

Can I still get MTN8 Final tickets?

The match is sold out, and there will be no tickets sold at the stadium. Supporters who were unable to secure tickets can follow the action live on the SuperSport PSL Channel (202) and SABC 2.

Ticket holders are reminded that stadium gates will open at 14h00, and early arrival is strongly encouraged to ensure smooth access and to enjoy the pre-match entertainment programme.

Park & Ride facilities for the 2025 MTN8 Final

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable match-day experience, five Park and Ride facilities will operate in and around the Mbombela CBD. These services are free of charge and open exclusively to ticket holders.
The Park and Ride facilities will open at 13h00 on match day and are free of charge. Access will be granted upon presentation of a valid match ticket, and ticket holders will be able to park their vehicles and board a shuttle bus directly to Mbombela Stadium, with return services provided after the match.
