Chippa United coach Teboho Moloi has withdrawn his utterances made against Kaizer Chiefs during post-match interviews of the Telkom Knockout Last 8 match at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, on Sunday, 5 November 2017.

Chippa United suffered a slender 1-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs in what was a thrill-a-minute encounter.

Moloi said in reference to the comments he made during post-match interviews; "I would like to withdraw the comments I made against Kaizer Chiefs in relation to my playing days (for Orlando Pirates between 1987-1992). The statement was made in the heat of the moment," he said.
