The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is deeply saddened by the passing of legendary sports journalist, Sy Lerman.

Throughout his distinguished career, Lerman worked for several of South Africa’s leading publications, including The Rand Daily Mail, Sunday Times, and The Citizen, leaving an indelible mark on the country’s sports journalism landscape.

The PSL extends its heartfelt condolences to the Lerman family, as well as the broader media fraternity, during this time of profound sorrow.

A moment of silence will be observed in his honour at all Betway Premiership and Motsepe Foundation Championship fixtures this weekend.
