Bidvest Wits will go in search of their first Absa Premiership win of the new season when they host Black Leopards at Bidvest Stadium on Wednesday, 22 August 2012.

In head-to-head stats, Wits and Leopards have met in 14 league matches since 2001/02.

The Johannesburg team has traditionally dominated the fixture, claiming seven wins compared to the Limpopo side’s four.

Wits’ advantage is even more marked in home fixtures, with five wins from seven matches and just one defeat suffered.

The Clever Boys took four points off Lidoda Duvha in last season’s two league fixtures, winning 2-1 in Limpopo and drawing 0-0 in the return game in Gauteng.
