Wits, Tuks in university battle
Bidvest Wits and University of Pretoria will both be looking to recover from some recent lean form in the Absa Premiership when they meet at Bidvest Stadium on Wednesday, kick-off at 19h30.
Wits suffered a second loss in the space of three games when they were beaten 2-0 away by Orlando Pirates in their last outing.
The Johannesburg team has performed admirably at home this season, suffering just one defeat from six matches, and will be targeting another positive result in this encounter.
The Clever Boys are placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with 16 points from 12 matches.
University of Pretoria have gone four league games without a win and were beaten 2-1 at home by Black Leopards in their last outing.
The top flight rookies have, however, shown great form away from home this season, winning four of their six matches on the road.
AmaTuks are placed fifth on the Absa Premiership log with 17 points from 12 matches.
This will be the first competitive top flight league match between Bidvest Wits and University of Pretoria.
