Leopards in do-or-die clash at Pirates
Orlando Pirates will be looking to avoid a third straight home defeat in the Absa Premiership when they host Black Leopards at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday, kick-off at 19h30.
Pirates suffered a second successive home defeat when they were beaten 1-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns on the weekend.
The Soweto giants have recorded six wins, four draws and three losses from their 13 home matches this season.
The Buccaneers are placed third on the Absa Premiership log with 49 points from 28 matches.
Leopards have suffered three straight defeats and recorded six losses from their last seven matches. Last week they were beaten 5-2 at home by Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Limpopo team has recorded just two wins away from home this season, suffering seven defeats in the process.
Lidoda Duvhare are placed 16th on the Absa Premiership log with 23 points from 28 matches.
In head-to-head stats, Pirates and Leopards have met in 17 league matches since 2001/02.
Bucs have traditionally dominated the fixture claiming 13 wins compared to just one for Lidoda Duvha.
Pirates are unbeaten in home matches against Leopards, with six wins and two draws from eight meetings.
When the teams clashed earlier this season in Limpopo, Bucs cruised to a 4-0 win thanks to goals from Mbesuma, Ntshumayelo, Klate and Jele.
