Tuks search for first win against Celtic
University of Pretoria will be targeting their first Absa Premiership win of the season when they host Bloemfontein Celtic at Tuks Stadium on Saturday, kick-off at 15h00.
The University side played to a goalless draw away to Maritzburg United in their last league outing.
The Pretoria club’s first home match of the season saw them beaten 1-0 at home by city rivals SuperSport United.
Their next three league opponents are Platinum Stars (away), Golden Arrows (home) and Orlando Pirates (away).
AmaTuks are placed 14th on the Absa Premiership log with one point from three matches.
Celtic’s last league outing saw them held to a 2-2 draw at home by regional rivals Free State Stars.
The Bloemfontein side’s first away match of the season saw them beat Polokwane City 3-2.
Their next three league opponents are Kaizer Chiefs (home), Mpumalanga Black Aces (away) and Moroka Swallows (home).
Phunya Sele Sele are placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with four points from three matches.
University of Pretoria and Celtic have met in just two previous league matches, both of which were played last season.
Tuks won 2-1 in Bloemfontein in the first meeting, while the return match in Pretoria ended in a 1-1 draw.
