Dikwena eye first win over Arrows

Platinum Stars are at home against Golden Arrows on Wednesday night in their fourth Absa Premiership assignment at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Phokeng.

Kick-off is at 7:30pm CAT (SA, GMT+2).

The Rustenburg-based side have had a poor start in their campaign, but are slowly starting to turn the corner after collecting their first point against Chippa United last weekend.

The draw means coach Roger De Sa has ended the club's losing streak and are now chasing their first victory against Abafana Bes'thende.

Fresh from three losses against Cape Town City, SuperSport United and Maritzburg United, Dikwena will fight harder to move away from the relegation zone.

Looking at coach Clinton Larsen's troops, Arrows have enjoyed a brilliant start in this campaign as they have bagged two wins so far.

They managed to beat defending champions Bidvest Wits 3-1 and demolished AmaZulu 4-1, but also drew twice against Bloemfontein Celtic and Ajax Cape Town.

However, with confidence high in their camp, the encounter in Phokeng is set to be a thriller as both coaches are looking for the three points.
