AmaZulu face Polokwane City test

AmaZulu FC will play host to Polokwane City an in Absa Premiership match at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Wednesday.

Kick-off is at 7:30pm.

Usuthu are undefeated in their last two league matches after drawing 1-1 with Platinum Stars at home two weeks ago.

Rhulani Manzini scored for AmaZulu, who are placed ninth on the league standing with eight points from six matches. They are a point behind eighth-placed Maritzburg United.

Meanwhile, Polokwane's four-match losing streak in the league came to end when they drew 2-2 with Orlando Pirates at home a fortnight ago.

Rendani Ndou and Rodney Ramagalela netted for Rise and Shine, who are placed 14th on the league table with five points from seven games. They are above the relegation play-off spot on goal-difference.

Sadate Ouro-Akoriko: The towering central defender has brought stability in Usuthu's defence after rejoining the club prior to the current season. The Togolese international will be looking to ensure that his side keep a clean sheet against Rise and Shine.

Rhulani Manzini: The striker has hit the ground running after joining the club from Chippa United two months ago. The hard-working forward, who has score three goals in his last two league games, will be hoping to continue his scoring form on Wednesday.

Polokwane key players

Sammy Seabi: The promising central midfielder is the link between Rise and Shine's defence and midfield. The 22-year-old, who netted against Free State Stars, will be hoping to play an important role in helping his side defeat Usuthu.

Rodney Ramagalela: The forward is currently the joint top goal scorer in the Absa Premiership having scored four goals. The former Mamelodi Sundowns marksman will be looking to score again and help his side end their winless run.
