Larsen hails comeback efforts
Lamontville Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen has hailed the comeback efforts of his team as they kept their unbeaten record in the Absa Premiership alive at the weekend.
“Coming twice from behind against a stubborn Polokwane showed great character on the part of our players.
“The result was not ideally what we wanted but once again we showed unbelievable fighting spirit,” Larsen said in the wake of Saturday’s 2-2 home draw with Polokwane City at KwaMashu.
“Our performance lacked a bit of spark but it was understandable considering the game we played against Baroka before that and the travel.”
Arrows sit in second place in the Absa Premiership on 15 points from nine games. They are just a single point behind leaders Baroka FC.
