Chippa out for revenge against Bakgaga
Chippa United will be chasing a win against Baroka FC in the Absa Premiership when they visit Limpopo on Saturday afternoon at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Kick-off is at 3:30pm.
The Chilli Boys will be under pressure heading to the Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele as they are out to break their spate of draws.
Although they are morally boosted by a win in the Nedbank Cup over Phiva Young Stars last weekend, a win in the league will consolidate their spot in the top eight.
Coach Teboho Moloi will be hoping to guide his charges to raise their game and erase their two draws against Maritzburg United and Platinum Stars in recent matches.
On the log table, the Eastern Cape-based side sit at No 7 with 26 points.
Looking at the hosts, coach McDonald Makhubedu is chasing his second win in a row after the absence of coach Kgoloko Thobejane through suspension.
Makhubedu was at the helm when they bagged a 1-0 win over Dikwena in the Ke Yona competition on Wednesday night.
Although they are not yet in the top eight, Baroka are also chasing the full three points to ensure they cement their top eight spot.
Fresh from a 2-0 defeat against Free State Stars in their league outing a week ago, Makhubedu must motivate his side and ensure they do not disappoint at home.
Chippa occupy the ninth spot on the league table with points 26 from 20 games so far.

What the teams are saying:
Baroka FC coach McDonald Makhubedu:
“They are on form, a good team and are coming from a win in the cup like us. This makes it a tough game,” said Makhubedu.
“They have a new coach and new faces compared to the first game. Guys like (Linda) Mntambo, (Mxolisi) Machupu and the Burundian international (Frederick Nsabiyumbva) compared to the first round and so on.
“So the 3-1 win in the first leg is history, because they will come with a new team, strategy and we have to be disciplined.
“However, we are waiting for the game and the guys are ready. We are at home and the mission is to win. Hopefully we will do everything right add win.”
Chippa United coach Teboho Moloi:
“I had been working a lot on defence when I got here and it was nice that we could attack well for a change in our last game,” said Moloi.
“It seemed as though the players had forgotten how to defend, which is why they could not maintain a lead.
“I really believe that we should not have conceded the last two goals against Stars, we could have done better in defence.
“It was just a matter of us switching off from defensive duties that cost in the end.
“I am really happy that our offensive play was able to yield positive results, but we need to strike a balance with our defence and offence.
“The players just need a little bit more maturity to excel, which is the reason I have been talking about an African football mentality. I want them to show some maturity.”
Key players for Baroka FC:
Ayanda Dlamini:
Dlamini had a good game against Stars as he made his debut in Rustenburg. He was able to make crucial saves on the day and will want continuity in his game.
Letladi Madubanya:
The skipper was handed the armband in the absence of Olaleng Shaku against Dikwena. His experience and ability to dominate the midfield will be key for the hosts.
Key players for Chippa United:
Daniel Akpeyi:
The big Nigerian keeper is out to secure a ticket to the 2018 Fifa World Cup and will be hoping to provide a stellar performance on the day. He will also want to keep a clean sheet.
Mark Mayambela:
Mayambela netted a brace in their previous encounter against Dikwena. The skilful midfielder was happy to net his first double in his career and will be the man to watch in Polokwane.
