Nedbank Cup Last 32 Draw Explained

The 2015/16 Nedbank Cup last 32 draw will be conducted on Thursday night, 28 January 2016 in Johannesburg.

The Draw will be LIVE on SuperSport 4 from 19h30. The Nedbank Cup round of 32 is made of 16 Premier Division clubs (automatic qualification), eight (8) NFD Clubs and 8 clubs from the SAFA structures.

The SAFA clubs who have qualified are: EC Bees (Eastern Cape, ABC Motsepe League), Sibanye Golden Stars (Free State, ABC Motsepe League), African All Stars (Gauteng, ABC Motsepe League), Magesi FC (Limpopo, ABC Motsepe League), Milford FC (Kwa-Zulu Natal, ABC Motsepe League), Polokwane City Rovers (North West, ABC Motsepe League), Steenberg United (Western Cape, ABC Motsepe League) and United Rovers (Northern Cape, SAB League).

The SAFA clubs join eight National First Division clubs: AmaZulu, Highlands Park, Mthatha Bucks, Moroka Swallows, Santos, Mbombela United, Baroka FC and Black Leopards.

Draw Procedure:

Details: Draw Master (Derek Blanckensee). Draw Assistants: Mato Madlala (PSL ACEO) and Thulani Sibeko (Nedbank Representative).

- All 32 clubs will be placed in one pot

- There will be no seeding

- Mato Madlala will be responsible for drawing Home Clubs

- Thulani Sibeko will draw the Away Clubs

- In each sequence, the first ball to the drawn will be the home club and the second ball will be their opponent, the away club

- This process will be repeated until all fixtures are finalized
